Arts and Crafts Workshops

Visitors to this year’s Lyme Regis ArtsFest will be able to try their hand at a wide variety of arts and crafts, from decopatching to stonebalancing, at workshops run by ArtsFest artists.


Learn the basics of beadweaving and come away with a beaded brooch or pendant in one of Ilsa Fatt’s Beadwork Workshops on 21 and 22 Sept (10-12, £12, book at On 24 Sept, Trisha Hayman will guide beginners and more experienced artists in how to paint detailed life studies in two Still Life in Close Up workshops (10-12 and 2-4, £10, book at Ann Pengelly’s Stained Glass Boats and Fishes is so popular that it is being run twice on 26 Sept (10-1 and 2-5, £15, book at All these workshops take place at the Town Mill Community Room.


Four other ArtsFest artists will be sharing their skills with visitors at workshops on the seafront. Want to put plastic bags to good use?
